Guozhu Sun

Born in 1986 in Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province, China.

Doctor of Philosophy.

Currently a lecturer in Department of Philosophy and a tutor of graduate students in Humanities College of China University of Political Science and Law（CUPL）.

Mainly engaged in teaching and research in philosophy and religious study, and pays special attention to the knowledge transformation of culture. The research fields include the phenomenon of “Zen escapism” in the transition period between Mingand Qing, Buddhist philosophy, contemporary construction of Chinese philosophy (symbiosis), etc.

Visited the East Asia Department of the University of Arizona from Sep 2014 to Sep 2015; Funded by China Scholarship Council and. Publish articles in the journals ofBuddhist Studies,Morality and Civilization,the Religious Cultures in the World,Confucius Studies and the Journal of Humanistic Religion Studies.
